On Sunday, June 9, 2009 friends and members of the First Presbyterian Church participated in a ceremony dedicating the new Memorial Garden. The purpose of this new garden, located in front of the church, is to provide a place for the permanent placement of ashes from cremation of church members and friends of the church, as well as a retreat for mediation and prayer for all who wish to use it.
Congratulations to the following committee members who planned and completed this wonderful addition to the church: Sue Shay, Joan Sheaffer, Mary Stiver, Suzanne Stock and Bob Hawthorne.
