August 30, 2009 Hymn Sing and Potluck

The annual Presbyterian church hymn sing and potluck was held on Sunday, August 30, 2009.  The hymn sing was preceded by a children's sermon by Aaron Hotelling, the choir director, who informed the children that God not only wanted people to  praise His name in song and by playing musical instruments, but also by dancing.  Aaron then proceeded to teach the children how to do the Bunny Hop.
The hymn sing included not only a number of hymns already selected, but also a number chosen by those in the congregation.  The singing was enjoyed by everyone.
Following the service the congregation all enjoyed a potluck sponsored by the Presbyterian Women.  As is almost always the case, very little food was left over.
