Did You Know

Besides donations of non-perishable and fresh goods, the Otsego County Food Pantry accepts donations of commercially processed meat, including game meat and garden vegetables.

 

School Backpack Program

The Otsego County Food Pantry started the SCHOOL BACKPACK PROGRAM in 2014. This program sends a backpack of shelf-stable food home with at risk K thru 6th grade students each weekend of the school year. The cost of this program is $100 per strudent for the school year.  We are currently serving seven schools and over 320 students in Otsego County.  Since 2014 we have provided over 350,000 meals.

How to Access Services
Anyone living or working in Otsego County is eligible for services through the Food Pantry.

Register at the back entrance of the United Way, 116 E. Fifth St., Gaylord, MI.  Hours of operation are 12:00 - 2:00 daily, NO weekends or holidays.
