Pharmaceutical Program (MEPPS)

Need Help With Your Prescriptions?
The Michigan Emergency Pharmaceutical
Program (MEPPS) for Seniors may be able to help.
MEPPS provides short-term financial
intervention and assistance to adults aged 65 and older with no
prescription coverage who have an immediate need for prescribed
medication.
Eligibility is deemed in each month of
application, not to exceed three times in a fiscal year. There is no
limit on the number or cost of prescriptions per client.
There is a voluntary copayment of twenty
five cents for each prescription.
FY'2001 Monthly Income Limit:
Single/Widowed $1,044
(monthly RX cost must be at least 10% of monthly income)
Married $1,406
(monthly RX cost must be at least 8% of monthly income)
