While the township does not have a direct responsibility for roads, Dover Township officials periodically meet with the Otsego County Road Commission to discuss roads located in Dover Township. With input from township residents, township officials discuss road construction and maintenance projects and suggest prioritization for road projects. The township will assist with the Dover Township road costs when funds are available. All decisions regarding construction, maintenance and prioritization are made by the Otsego County Road Commission.
